<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fuel cell system and its control method capable of efficiently exhausting product water, irrespective of a load state, and securing desired power generation performance. <P>SOLUTION: The fuel cell system 1 is provided with a fuel cell 2 generating power with supply of anode gas and cathode gas, a purge valve 52 carrying out purging of the anode gas supplied to the fuel cell 2, a load demand acquiring means 7 for detecting load demand of the fuel cell 2, an anode pressure setting means 8 for deciding pressure of the anode gas based on a detection result of the load demand acquiring means 7, a diluting box 31 processing and exhausting anode offgas exhausted from the fuel cell 2 through the purge valve 52, and a discharge resistor 5 carrying out discharge of the fuel cell 2. It is also provided with a discharge/exhaust process for carrying out exhaust by the purge valve 52 after carrying out discharge by the discharge resistor 5, in case a detection result of the load demand acquiring means 7 is not more than a prescribed value. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
