<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a new electrosurgical device exhibiting original action effects, and a method of collecting high-frequency currents in the electrosurgical device. <P>SOLUTION: The electrosurgical device includes a current treating part 1 for treating a body region P1 with the high-frequency currents fed from a high-frequency current generating part 3, and a counter electrode part 2 disposed in a body region P2 different from the body region P1 for collecting the high-frequency currents flowing in the body of a patient. The high-frequency current generating part 3 is configured to feed high frequency currents of 4.0 Hz to 6.0 MHz to the current treating part 1.
