PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a lubricating composition which curtails a light actuation and an actuation power change without impairing the stabilization against the contact resistance and also the sulfuration resistance at an electric contact part and which is improved in the durability. SOLUTION: The lubricating composition for use in electric contacts contains (A) 100 pts.wt. of a polydimethylsilicone oil as a base oil, (B) 1.0-20 pts.wt.of a silica powder as a thickener, (C) 1.0-15 pts.wt. of an additive oil different in the compatibility from the polydimethylsilicone oil, (D) 0.01-5.0 pts.wt. of a fluororesin fine powder and (E) 0.01-1.0 pt.wt. of an organothiol compound selected from the group consisting of compounds expressed by general formula: R<SP>1</SP>SH (R<SP>1</SP>is a 10C-20C saturated or unsaturated monovalent hydrocarbyl group) and compounds expressed by general formula: HSR<SP>2</SP>SH (R<SP>2</SP>is a 3C-16C saturated or unsaturated divalent hydrocarbyl group).
