PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a communication device having high convenience by utilizing 'position information'. SOLUTION: One form of the communication device includes: a transmission means for transmitting starting spot information and an arrival spot information which are information for determining the optimum route to an external device; and a reception means for receiving route information including link data showing road information constituting the optimum route from the external device.
