PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a flap material for a knapsack which has a feeling of smoothness and gloss on the surface, and sharpness in color, and that excels in bend resistance and in the effect of preventing a coloring agent applied to the rear surface from being transferred to the front surface when the rear and the front surface are superimposed and stored. SOLUTION: In the flap material for the type of bag with a flap, a coloring layer is formed on the rear surface of a fiber base material layer, and on the opposite side to the rear surface, a polyurethane surface layer is laminated which contains binder polyurethane and polyurethane particulates of grain size of 1-50μm in a mass ratio of 10-40 parts to 100 parts of the binder polyurethane.
