<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a radar device for calculating an axial deviation amount in the upper/lower and right/left directions of a radar beam. <P>SOLUTION: The radar device 1 includes a radar 2 and an ECU (Electronic Control Unit) 3 connected to the radar 2. The ECU 3 extracts a preceding vehicle traveling just in front along a straight road on the same lane as own vehicle based on data detected by the radar 2. When a distance and the upper/lower and right/left directions of the preceding vehicle with respect to own vehicle are detected in a prescribed number of times by the radar 2 relative to the preceding vehicle, the ECU 3 calculates each angle deviation amountΔθx,Δθy (axial deviation amount) in the upper/lower and right/left directions of the radar beam based on data detected in the prescribed number of times. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
