<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To communicate data at a necessary rate while reducing the power consumption of a wireless terminal. <P>SOLUTION: A wireless communication system 1 constitutes an electronic bin tag system using a management server 2, repeaters 3, and wireless terminals 5. The management server 2 groups the wireless terminals 5 based upon remainder value obtained by dividing unique numbers that the wireless terminals have respectively by the total number of groups that the management server 2 defines. Further, the management server 2 dynamically manages the total number of groups to set the total number of groups suitable to the use state and functions of the wireless communication system 1. Consequently, the number of wireless terminals 5 joining in a group can be brought under dynamic diffusion management. The wireless communication system 1 can be placed in operation such that when all the wireless terminals 5 start transmission at the same time, the total number of groups is set to a large value, and then decreased as the number of terminals accommodated in one basic frame decreases with passage of time. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
