PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a thermoelectric module capable of efficiently controlling temperature by thermoelectric elements by dispersing heat from a hear source (a heat load) uniformly to the whole substrate even if heat source (heat load) arrangement is not uniform. SOLUTION: The thermoelectric module 10 comprises an upper substrate 11 formed, on its rear face, with a thermoelectric element electrode pattern comprising a plurality of upper electrodes 13; a lower substrate 12 formed, on its front face, with a thermoelectric element electrode pattern comprising a plurality of lower electrodes 14; and a plurality of thermoelectric elements 17 arranged and fixed so as to be connected in series between the thermoelectric element electrode patterns of both substrates 11, 12. At least one substrate out of the upper substrate 11 and lower substrate 12 is formed with heat spreaders 15, 16 for dispersing heat from the heat source 18 arranged on the substrates 11, 12, in addition to the upper and lower electrodes 13, 14.
