摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision reinforcing material for a vehicle capable of preventing reduction of bending rigidity as much as possible by maintaining cross section height as much as possible even at load input at collision of the vehicle. SOLUTION: A body part 10 of the collision reinforcing material has: a pair of webs (body plate part) 11 opposed to each other; central ceiling plate parts 12; and a pair of side part flanges 13, and is constituted of a first portion P1, two second portions P2 and two third portions P3. A groove 20 is provided on the central ceiling parts 12 of both P1 and P2. A bottom plate part 22A of the groove in P1 is arranged at the approximately same height position as the pair of flanges 13 and is formed in parallel to the central ceiling part 12. A bottom plate part 22B of the groove in P2 is inclined/formed so as to connect one end of the bottom plate part 22A of P1 to one end of the central ceiling plate part 12. In respective lateral cross section of P1 and P2, the groove 20 is opened to a front end part side of the web and an opening area R between the web and an inner plate part is opened to a rear end part side of the web.
