<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an information processing apparatus capable of reducing the number of times of operations by a user, when selecting a terminal device via a network to establish a connection. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The information processing apparatus (computer 1) includes a connection history storage section 11b for storing the history of the establishment of a connection with terminal devices as connection history information; a terminal search section (CPU 10, network interface section 16) for searching for terminal devices connected to a network 200; a terminal selection section (CPU 10) for selecting one or more terminal devices as connection terminals, based on the connection history information stored in the connection history storage section 11b, from among the terminal devices for which the terminal search section has searched; and a connection section (CPU 10, network interface section 16) for establishing a connection to the terminal devices for which the terminal selection section selects as the connection terminals.
