PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an electronic apparatus that reduces the time required for enabling updated software. SOLUTION: A cellular phone 1 includes: a nonvolatile NAND 35 storing a software program by block; a second NAND receiving update information data to update the program stored in a first NAND; a volatile SDRAM (synchronous dynamic random access memory) 34 storing the program to be executed for working; and an MPU 30 reading the program stored in the NAND 35, generating an updated program based on the update information data stored in the second NAND to store the updated program in the SDRAM 34, and executing the program stored in the SDRAM 34.
