The method involves classifying objects into primary objects and secondary objects. A map (4) is formed combining the primary and secondary objects. The primary and secondary objects are respectively represented as real objects (8, 10) and generic objects (20, 22, 26). The real objects are placed into the map, and the generic objects are inserted into a freely usable surface (13). The real objects are provided from a database, and a traffic route/transport route is represented as the real objects.
