PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a small diversity antenna device excellent in reception performance. SOLUTION: This diversity antenna device has: a first antenna element; a second antenna element; a first ground; a second ground; a first variable phase shifter electrically connected to the first antenna element and disposed closely to at least either the first ground or the second ground; a second variable phase shifter electrically connected to the second antenna element and disposed closely to at least either the first ground and the second ground; a synthesizer for synthesizing an output signal of the first variable phase shifter with an output signal of the second variable phase shifter and disposed closely to at least either the first ground or the second ground; and a signal processing section electrically connected to the output side of the synthesizer and disposed closely to either the first ground or the second ground.
