<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a luminaire achieving energy saving and reducing environmental load while excessive power consumption is appropriately suppressed by continuously adjusting a lighting condition of the luminaire according to an increase in brightness due to external light. <P>SOLUTION: The luminaire 10 includes a device body 11 mounted on a ceiling surface 1 and a brightness sensor.
