<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a container for electrophotographic toner giving images with stable developing property and no degradation of picture quality due to development stripes even when a great number of sheets are continuously printed in a high temperature and high humidity environment. <P>SOLUTION: The container for an electrophotographic toner stores the toner, wherein a thermoplastic elastomer is used as a toner sealing member. In the molecular weight distribution chart of the molecular weight of the thermoplastic elastomer in terms of a tetrahydrofuran soluble content fraction measured by gel permeation chromatography, an area ratio of a component having a molecular weight of 800 or less to the whole ranges from 0.05% to 30.00%. The toner contains toner particles and an inorganic fine powder. When methanol concentrations (%) during 50% transmittance by methanol wettability tests after the toner particles are left to stand in environments of 20°C and 40°C for 5 hours, are defined as D20 and D40, respectively, relationships of 10.0≤D20≤40.0 and 0≤D40-D20≤2.0 are satisfied. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
