PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To perform display control by a projector part and a display part, to further take into account the needs of users. SOLUTION: The portable electronic device includes the display part displaying prescribed display data; the projector part projecting at least a part of the display data; a storage part storing display data, including at least own device state information indicating the state of own device; and a control part making the display part and/or the projector part to display the display data stored in the storage part, and the control part causes the display part to display the display data including own device state information and makes the projector part project the display data that do not include own device state information.
