PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a method for manufacturing a film having improved process efficiency of irregularity through a laser beam irradiation. SOLUTION: The method for manufacturing the film has an irregularity applying step which sprays gas 5 onto a laser beam irradiation part in a polymer film while irradiating at least one of the film end of both ends in the width direction in a polymer film 10 to be conveyed with the laser beam 3.
