<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To make a tracking pattern inconspicuous as much as possible even in an outputted matter image-formed only by black color of single color or mixed color, and to eliminate the need of discriminating a superposed area of the image and tracking pattern that is difficult in the conventional tracking pattern in an image forming apparatus using an electrophotographic system. <P>SOLUTION: The image forming apparatus includes: developing units of non-magnetic toner of 108M (Mazenta), 108C (Cyan), 108Y (Yellow) which are necessary for image formation; and a developing unit 108J (Black) using a black magnetic toner for tracking pattern formation, wherein the tracking pattern is dispersed on the whole image printing area or is applied onto a black image formed with a single color or mixed colors and, thereby, the tracking pattern is reliably inconspicuously woven into the image even when forming a monochromatic image. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
