<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a telephone apparatus with which time and labor of a user for input of a number, a symbol or the like can be saved. Ž<P>SOLUTION: When "0857123456PPP9012*#" is input from an input unit and a call originating operation is applied (step S01), a part "0857123456" in the input telephone number is sent out to a line (step S02) and when an opposite side answers (step S03), operation waits for a time of the number of pauses ×3 sec=9 sec (step S05, S06).
