Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cylindrical aquarium is vertically placed in an aquarium 1, has a water-passing part 3 at a part sinking in water held in the aquarium 1, and keeps a water level W2 higher than a water level W1 in the aquarium 1. The cylindrical aquarium comprises a large diameter cylinder 2A placed in the aquarium 1 and a small diameter cylinder 2B placed on the large diameter cylinder 2A and having a diameter smaller than the diameter of the large diameter cylinder 2A, the large diameter cylinder 2A is not protruded from the upper edge 1a of the aquarium 1 when placed in the aquarium 1, and the small diameter cylinder 2B is protruded from the upper edge 1a of the aquarium 1 in the case of placing the large diameter cylinder 2A in the aquarium 1.
