<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an evaporation and condensation apparatus, by which a condensate with a predetermined concentration can be easily obtained through application of a combination of its simple structure and a relatively convenient control method to condensation of a used solution as a stock solution from a production process where yield and concentration always change. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The evaporation and condensation apparatus for condensing a stock solution containing a solute and a volatile solvent inclues a concentration detection means for detecting an initial concentration of a solute in a stock solution, a liquid-level detection means for detecting the liquid level of a condensate discharged from an evaporation and condensation apparatus, an integration value-calculating means for calculating an integration value of the condensate, an evaporation level-calculating means for calculating the evaporation level of the solvent based on the initial concentration of the solute and a target concentration, and a determination means for determining the fact that the integration value reaches the evaporation level.
