METHOD FOR THE ELEVATION OF A FLOAT-CEILING CISTERN OF PETROLEUM PRODUCTS

Subject: method for the elevation of a float-ceiling cistern of petroleum products which method is applied for repairs in case of breakdown due to the differential precipitations of the cisterns foundation, what leads to the suspension of their operation. The intervention to their foundation aiming at their overall repairs, presupposes the hoisting of all cisterns by fastening of the bottom 10 to the floating ceiling 2 via welding of the supports 3 of the cistern to the bottom 7 and the float ceiling 11; in the sequel, the thus reinforced float ceiling 12 is fixed on the shell 1 through the supports 8 and the support rods 9. The thus unified structure is hoisted via a lifting jack 5 placed on the underside of the supports 4 while the cistern is fixed on the wooden structure 6 seated onto improved subsoil 13.
