<p>The audio tube amplifier (12) has an amplifier tube provided with an output that is connected with an output transformer (10), which has a primary winding (Wp) and an output winding. A compensation regulator is provided with a direct current source, which is connected with another winding (Wk) of the output transformer for producing a compensation magnetic field. The direct current source has a clock-controlled electronic switching element. Independent claims are also included for the following: (1) a stereo or multi-channel amplifier arrangement with an amplifier; (2) a method for compensating satiation by an aperiodic component in a primary winding of an output transformer; and (3) a method for suppressing unwanted alternating current overlays.</p> |
