<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a manufacturing method capable of more simply manufacturing a cathode active material which can make a charge-discharge capacity of a secondary battery higher than before if one is used for a cathode of the secondary battery, especially, a nonaqueous electrolyte secondary battery. <P>SOLUTION: The method of manufacturing the cathode active material includes a step of heat-treating under existence of hydride a raw-lithium complex metal oxide expressed in a formula: Li<SB>2</SB>MO<SB>3</SB>(in the formula, M is a kind or more elements selected from a group consisting of Ti, V, Mn, Fe, Co, and Ni). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
