<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a color filter wherein the electric property of a coloring layer constituting the color filter does not adversely affect a liquid crystal alignment and the threshold deviation of switching even when a slit is provided in a pixel electrode, and which can secure satisfactory performance even when a protective layer (an overcoat layer) formed of a transparent resin is not provided, and to provide a liquid crystal display device with the color filter. <P>SOLUTION: In the color filter including at least a red pixel, a green pixel and a blue pixel on a transparent substrate and a pixel electrode having a slit provided on each pixel, a coloring layer which constitutes a green pixel has a dielectric tangent (tanδ) of 0.025 or below in the range of 10 to 100 Hz frequency, the coloring layer of the green pixel has 1.0 to 3.0 μm film thickness, the green pixel has chromaticity y of 0.57 or more in 1.5 μm film thickness and a halogenated copper phthalocyanine pigment is contained in a green colored composition of the green pixel. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
