<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a variable displacement exhaust turbo-charger which does not have a risk of being damaged at the fixing parts of a variable nozzle mechanism even if an excessive engine vibration acts thereon and in which the bolts for fastening the variable nozzle mechanism to a bearing housing are not loosened or damaged. <P>SOLUTION: This variable displacement exhaust turbo-charger includes a turbine housing 1, a turbine rotor 3, a turbine shaft 3A, bearings 5 supporting the turbine shaft, a bearing housing 4 connected to the turbine housing 1 and in which the bearings 5 are stored, and a variable nozzle mechanism 8 affixed to the bearing housing 4 and adjusting the flow of exhaust gas. The variable nozzle mechanism 8 includes a nozzle 6, a nozzle mount 7 for holding the nozzle 6, a lever plate 11 engaged with the nozzle 6, and a drive ring 10 engaged with the lever plate 11. The nozzle mount 7 is affixed to the bearing housing 4 in a charger casing while the outer peripheral side is held by the bearing housing 4 and the turbine housing 1. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
