<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent a vehicle occupant from having an unpleasant feeling on the operation of a seat belt. <P>SOLUTION: The seat belt control device 10, which controls the tension of a webbing 43 according to behavior information or lateral acceleration of an own vehicle, includes a navigation system 12 for detecting the position of the own vehicle; a road geometry recognition apparatus 13 for acquiring a road geometry during running of the own vehicle and a road geometry on which the own vehicle runs after a predetermined time; and a belt controller 15 for controlling the tension of a seat belt system 16, based on the detection result of the position of the own vehicle by means of the navigation system 12 and acquired result of the road geometry with the geometry recognition apparatus 13. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT</p> |
