PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a volatile chemical developing stable pest controlling effect from the initial stage to the final stage of use by using two or more kinds of pest control agent components and controlling the volatilization rate of each component according to the kind of the pest controlling component, and to provide a pest controlling method using the volatile chemical. SOLUTION: In the volatile chemical and the pest controlling method using the volatile chemical, a pesticide agent volatilizing at normal temperature is used as the volatile chemical, and two or more kinds of different pest control agents volatilizing at normal temperature are held on different resin carriers and these resin carriers are held in the same container having an opening.
