<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a coating method for improving a yield with a facilitated manufacturing method and obtaining an electric shielding effect by eliminating the masking work of a coating film. Ž<P>SOLUTION: A coating method includes: a step of arranging a substrate 12 mounting electrical components 10a, 10b and 10c on the bottom part 14a of a casing in the casing 14 comprising the conductive casing bottom 14a, casing sidewall parts 14b and 14c, and an upper lid part 14e of the casing; a step of forming an opening part 24 in the casing 14; a step of forming a coating film 18a on the electrical components 10a, 10b and 10c and a substrate 12 through the opening part 24; and a step of sealing the opening part 24 by using a conductive screw 20 or a pin.
