<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To accurately control the temperature of reheat steam all the time in a power generation facility such as a thermal power station. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The power generation facility includes: a boiler device 11 in which a furnace 12 is defined; and superheaters 14, 16 and reheaters 15, 17 arranged within a combustion exhaust gas passage 13 through which combustion exhaust gas of the boiler device 11 is made to pass. The combustion exhaust gas is recirculated in the furnace 2 by an exhaust gas recirculation duct 24. When the temperature of reheat steam is controlled, first, an opening of a furnace hopper damper 26 is controlled to adjust the recirculation amount of the combustion exhaust gas. Then, when the temperature of the reheat steam is lowered even when the recirculation amount of the combustion exhaust gas is adjusted, soot blowing is performed to clean the surface of the reheaters 15, 17.
