<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an EGR introduction device for an engine, preventing generation of NOx by increasing an EGR gas flow rate without degrading the performance of the engine from an engine high load range to an engine low load range. Ž<P>SOLUTION: An air supply throttle valve for controlling an air supply flow rate is provided in an air supply inlet passage communicating with the air supply valve of the engine. The air supply throttle valve includes a rotary valve provided with a valve case having an air supply inlet communicating with the air supply inlet passage, and a valve element relatively rotatably fitted into the valve case and internally formed with a fluid passage hole. In the rotary valve, the flow passage hole of the valve element and the air supply inlet in the valve case are so formed that the air supply passage is fully opened when the flow passage hole is positioned parallel to the air supply inlet by rotation of the valvae element, the air supply passage is reduced according as a relative positional value between the fluid passage hole and the air supply inlet is reduced with the rotation of the valve element, and the air supply passage is fully closed when the fluid passage hole approaches the air supply inlet at a right angle.
