<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a magnet unit which can reduce a leakage magnetic flux and also increase a magnetic force (magnetic flux density) efficiently. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This magnet unit includes a U-shaped yoke 20 of a ferromagnetic material, with a rectangular section, and formed of a bar-like raw material bent in a U-shape, and two magnets 10 and 10 which are adsorbed to the inside of an area near both ends 20a and 20b of the U-shaped yoke 20 so as to allow the heteromagnetic poles to be opposed to each other. Besides, the magnet unit has a gap W between both magnets 10 and 10. In addition, a level difference 20c is formed in the surface to which the magnets 10 and 10 of the U-shaped yoke 20 are adsorbed, and a gap d is arranged between the level difference 20c and the magnets 10 and 10.
