<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a plant protecting material hardly peeling off a tread pressure material. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The lawn protecting material includes a base material 2, a protection material 3 attached to the upper part of the base material 2, and a tread pressure material 4 attached to the upper part of the protection material 3. An engagement projecting part 21 set on an upper surface of a protection material body 20 of the protection material 3 is forcibly inserted into the inner space of a tread pressure part 30 of the tread pressure material to tightly engage the engagement projecting part 21 with the tread pressure part 30, while a buffer gap 33 is formed on the upper side of the engagement projecting part 21 in the tread pressure part 30, and an air communicating groove 24 is disposed on the engagement projecting part 21 so as to communicate the buffer gap 33 with the outside.
