<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an apparatus for removing dents on a pipe. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The apparatus for removing the dents on the pipe in the mounted state, especially for removing the dents on the pipe of a heat exchanger pipe, an individual system into which these apparatus are integrated and a method for using the apparatus are disclosed. The apparatus has a dent detecting unit (3) and a dent removing unit (2). Thus, the dents on the pipe in the mounted state are detected and removed in a single pass. Preferably, the detection of the dents is performed mechanically and the removal of those dents is performed by pressurizing the dent removing unit and the dent removing unit is expanded in the peripheral direction.
