The unit (10) has a removable cartridge cover (20), and a seal (50) for sealing a gap (11) between a cartridge frame (30) and the cartridge cover. The seal projects from circumference of a cover plate (21) of the cartridge cover when the cartridge cover is in a raised position. A seal carrier (40) is provided at a lower side (23) of the cartridge cover. The seal carrier is connected with the seal that projects from an external edge (22) of the cartridge cover. The seal carrier is formed as a single piece with the seal. The carrier is made of hard plastic, and the seal is made of soft plastic.
