PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a vehicle body structure reducing a deformation amount of upward bending of a bent part arranged in a side member relative to a load input in the longitudinal direction. SOLUTION: In the front side member 1, the bent part 11 going under on the lower side of a vehicle cabin part R, is arranged. The strength of an upper wall part 11Wa from the bending start end 11A of the bent part 11 to the bending termination 11B is made larger than that of a lower wall part 11Wb. A fragile recessed part 12 is arranged at a region closer to the bending start end 11A relative to the bending termination 11B of the upper wall part 11Wa.
