PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a slide device of an inexpensive and simple constitution, realizing the long service life of the linearly moving type slide device of using bearings without adding a new process with a simple constitution. SOLUTION: This slide device is simple, and can lengthen the service life, by improving slidability with the bearings 11 and 12 correspondingly arranged by processing and hardening planes 2 and 3 of a rail 1 having a substantially U shape in a cross section by press working.
