<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a simple envelope in which a folding-back piece for sealing can easily and rapidly be sealed on an envelope body without providing an adhesive and a release paper and which is expensive. Ž<P>SOLUTION: In the simple envelope, by forcibly pushing a sealing piece 7 into a back paper part 3 from a surface paper part 2 in Fig.1, the sealing piece 7 is projected to the outside of the back paper part 3 through an opening hole (a fanlike hole, namely, it is opened by bending the sealing piece 10 to the outside of the back paper part 3 through a continuously provided part 11 by a pressing force of the sealing piece 7) of the back paper part 3 formed by a cut channel 9 of the sealing piece 10 of the back paper part 3. This projected sealing piece 7 is pinched between the sealing piece 10 bent to the outside through the continuously provided part 11 and the back paper part 3, and a locking edge 7a on the outer periphery of the sealing piece 7 projected to the outside of the back paper part 3 is locked by the sealing piece 10, and is held under a pinched condition between the back paper part 3 and the sealing piece 10.
