<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner for a vehicle capable of improving air conditioning performance without being upsized. Ž<P>SOLUTION: This air conditioning device 10 includes a cooling water passage 20 supplying cooling water to first and second Peltier units 17, 18 while being connected with a radiator 19, and an air conditioning ECU 14 controlling the polarity and magnitude of a voltage applied to the first and second Peltier units. The first and second Peltier units include a heat exchanger for cooling water, and a heat exchanger for cooling air performing heat exchange with air for air conditioning. The first Peltier unit is arranged in a supply passage supplying the air for air conditioning into a vehicle compartment, and the second Peltier unit is arranged in a supply passage on the downstream side of the first Peltier unit. The cooling water passage connects the radiator, the first Peltier unit, and the second Peltier unit so that the cooling water passed through the radiator is passed through the second Peltier unit after it is passed through the heat exchanger for cooling water of the first Peltier unit.
