<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To secure the sealing property of a dust collection body stored in a cleaner body with respect to a dust collection body suction port, and to improve durability of a front side sealing member for performing the sealing and attachability and detachability of the dust collection body. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The cleaner body 2 incorporating an electric blower 4 in a vacuum cleaner includes: a dust collection body storage chamber 2a arranged in front of the blower 4; and a body suction port 11 to which a dust suction hose 13 is insertable. The dust collection body 15 to be attached to/detached from the storage chamber 2a from above includes the dust collection body suction port 17 to communicate with the suction port 11. The sealing member 31 is movably arranged from a saving position, which is deviated to a front part from the movement trajectory of the suction port 17 when the dust collection body 15 is attached/detached to/from the storage chamber 2a, to a sealing position, which is positioned in a rear part and where the member 31 is pressurized against the suction port 17 of the dust collection body 15 stored in the storage chamber 2. The cleaner includes a linking means 20 having a lever 21 and an urging spring 33, so as to allow the sealing member 31 to be linked with the attachment/detachment of the dust collection body 15.
