<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a crop washing apparatus 43 that recovers water used for washing crops 43, reuses the water and prevents a workshop from being contaminated with water containing mud and admixtures. Ž<P>SOLUTION: The bottom of a water tank 32 is formed to have a surface forward and downward inclined from a transportation starting end side of a transportation part B, then a horizontal surface, and a surface forward and upward inclined toward a transportation terminal end side. Since water is collected in the horizontal surface part when the amount of water is reduced when water is drained, water is hardly left in the water tank 32 in drainage to improve maintenance of the machine body. Since mud and admixtures attached to the crops 43 are precipitated and collected in the horizontal surface, the water in the water tank 32 is sucked by a pump 32a arranged above the horizontal surface, circulated as washing water. Even if the water is spouted on the crops 43 from a spray device 38, the water is prevented from being mixed with the muddy water or admixture to improve washing precision of the crops 43.
