PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a site of fire occurrence and surplus information of fire extinguishing equipment to a specific telephone machine, in a private branch exchange, which has a fire information announcing function, and an extension terminal. SOLUTION: A private branch exchange 10 houses a wireless extension telephone machine 700-a or wired extension telephone machines 200-a, 200-b, and 200-c, fire sensors 300-a, 300-b, and 300-c, fire extinguishing equipment detectors 500-a, 500-b, and 500-c, and works with fire occurrence information. The private branch exchange 10 has: extension line abnormity detecting means 103 that determine abnormity of each of the fire sensors and the wired extension telephone machines; fire extinguishing facilities information storage means 107 that store fire extinguishing facilities with relating with an installation route; installation route storage means 104 that store each installation route of the fire sensors and the wired extension telephone machines; and fire information announcing means 108 that carry out notification. When abnormity is detected, a site corresponding to the installation route is defined as a site of fire occurrence, and fire information including the site of occurrence and surplus information of the fire extinguishing equipment are notified a predetermined extension telephone terminal or a predetermined destination.
