<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prolong the utilization time of portable electronic apparatus, by suppressing a predetermined reference value used for determining the stop of the portable electronic apparatus to a low voltage, as much as possible, and further, to stop the portable electronic apparatus in a normal manner, by avoiding abnormal stopping thereof. <P>SOLUTION: The portable electronic apparatus includes a load device; a measurement means for measuring an output voltage of a battery serving as a power supply of the load device; and a control means for comparing the output voltage of the battery detected by the measurement means with a reference value (step S3) and automatically stopping the driving of the load device, in accordance with a predetermined stop sequence (step S5), when the output voltage is lower than the reference voltage. The number of automatic stopping times is stored by the facts that the output voltage becomes lower than the reference value (step S6), and the reference value is changed to a value which corresponds to the stored number of times (step S7). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
