<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To vanish probability of occurring pseudo synchronization in a receiver having a backward synchronization protection circuit when transmitting a bit stream by adding a header in which control information is stored to digital data having a synchronous pattern. <P>SOLUTION: When a false synchronous pattern exists in a TS packet on a cycle of one packet for a predetermined times in succession, a bit flipping section 23 of a transmitter 2-1 reverses an LSB of a predetermined false synchronous pattern to generate reversed bit information showing the reversed bit position. A header generation section 21 converts reversed bit information into a flag to give it to the header. After synchronization is established from a received bit stream, a receiver 3-1 refers to the flag of the header to restore the reversed bit to an original one. Thereby, since the receiver 3-1 detects no false synchronous pattern for the predetermined times in succession, packet synchronization can be established at a correct position and no pseudo synchronization occurs. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
