<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve transmitting-receiving performance without using a switch or amplifier. <P>SOLUTION: An antenna part 11 is composed of a plurality of antenna elements 11a arranged in a row. A transmitting part 12 and a distributor 13 supply high-frequency pulse signals which are signals alternately changing in a pulse-on state with a large amplitude of a high-frequency signal and in a pulse-off state with a small amplitude of a high-frequency signal to each of the plurality of antenna elements 11a. Besides, a transmission side adjusting part 14 individually adjusts the phase of a high-frequency pulse signal supplied to each of the plurality of antenna elements 11a. In addition, when the high-frequency pulse signal is in a pulse-on state, the antenna part 11 controls the transmission side adjusting part 14 so as to transmit a high-frequency pulse signal toward a predetermined transmission directionθk.
