PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a battery which makes connections of a positive electrode lead 2 and a negative electrode lead 3 respectively to a positive electrode 12 and a negative electrode 13 reliable by making the positive electrode lead 2 and the negative electrode lead 3 adhere to a core material 11 of a power generation element 1 in advance, and does not break aluminum foils and copper foils of the connections. SOLUTION: The battery includes a winding type power generation element 1 having the positive electrode 12 and the negative electrode 13 which are wound around the circumference of the core material 11 with a separator 14 in between, wherein a resin sheet material 11a is wound by one turn or more to form the core material 11. The positive electrode lead 2 connected to a positive electrode terminal is connected to the positive electrode 12 protruding from one end surface of the power generation element 1, and is made adhere to one side terminal of the resin sheet material 11a of the core material 11, and the negative electrode lead 3 connected to a negative electrode terminal is connected to the negative electrode 13 protruding from the other end surface of the power generation element 1, and is made adhere to the other side terminal of the resin sheet material 11a of the core material 11.
