PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a navigation system apparatus for accurately identifying and indicating a target location in comparison with a conventional one. SOLUTION: The navigation system apparatus 1 includes: a storage section 17 for storing object location information 17A indicating a location of a guide target or a target object, and object shape information 17B indicating a shape; a current location determining section 15 for determining a current location and a travel direction from location information and a travel direction obtained from the outside; an image object location measuring section 18 for extracting an object image as the object from a plurality of captured and obtained images, and measuring a relative location of the object image; an object determining section 14 for calculating a relative location of the object from the current location, the travel direction and the location information determined by the current location determining section 15, and determining that the object image is the object when the object image is matched with the relative location of the object and the object shape information 17B is matched with the shape of the object image; and a highlight display/navigation information generating section 13 for highlighting the object in the image.
