PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a material filling device configured to efficiently fill even a highly viscous material so that bubbles are not mixed, and having a simple constitution. SOLUTION: Disclosed is a material filling device, which fills a second container 120 with material M that is stored in a first container 110, which has an opening at its upper end and the inner side surfaces 112 of which forms inclined surfaces toward the upper end, equipped with: a filling device unit 100, which comprises a first container holder 10, which holds the first container, a material relay member 20, which possesses a side surface 22 that encompasses the upper end of the first container and relays the material at the circumferential edge of a segregated area A1, and a second container holder 40, which holds the second container; and a rotary drive mechanism 200, which causes the filling device unit to rotate centered on a predetermined rotational axis line. The centrifugal force acting on the material is exploited to move the material from the first container to the segregated area, and then cause the material to pass through through-holes 30 formed in the side surface 22 and move into the second container, filling the container.
