<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To prevent superimposition of noises on a load voltage, and reduce switching loss. <P>SOLUTION: The discharge lamp lighting device includes: an output transformer to supply lighting voltage to a capacitive load; a push-pull circuit which has first and second switching elements alternately switching on and off based on an inversion control signal, and supplies DC voltage to the primary side of the output transformer in positive phase or opposite phase; a drive transformer which is constructed magnetically separated from the output transformer and is supplied with DC voltage and drives the first and the second switching elements; and a resistance load which is connected to the both ends of the secondary coil side of the drive transformer. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2010,JPO&INPIT |
