<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a reliable color filter having less density unevenness and color irregularity in various positions and excellent in solvent resistance and in brightness, and also provide ink to be used in the inkjet system for color filters and excellent in droplet discharge stability for being favorably used for manufacturing those color filters. <P>SOLUTION: The color filter ink contains colorants, a liquid medium dispersing and/or dissolving the colorants, a polymer X expressed by formula (4), and a block carboxyl group containing a compound whose carboxyl group of polycarboxylic acid has a block carboxyl group blocked by the vinyl ether compound or the vinyl thioether compound.
